N-scale Non-Sound Installation Service

This service is a one-stop-shop for a TCS decoder and installation. Have your locomotive TCS-equipped by the people who know our decoders best! No headaches or researching "what decoder do I need?" Leave it to us! We will install your DC-only or DCC-ready locomotive from Atlas, Bachmann, Intermountain, Kato, and others with a TCS drop-in decoder from our N-scale lineup:

Our service also includes basic lubrication, wheel cleaning, and programming of sound and lighting features (if desired). If you do not request any special programming, we will ship the decoder with factory default settings. Contact installations@tcsdcc.com with your order number in the subject line to detail any additional programming requests.

By purchasing this service, you are required to mail your locomotive to TCS headquarters in Pennsylvania for analysis and installation. This service includes the cost of the decoder (~$60 value!), plus any rewiring necessary to connect the factory-installed lighting features (if applicable).

Additonal services, such as the installation of additional lighting, physical repairs, etc. are required to be quoted separately from the price listed above, and are subject to a labor rate in addition to the material cost. Sound installations in N-scale locomotives or rolling stock are contact-for-quote only at this time. Send an email to installations@tcsdcc.com with the details (and pictures if possible) of your model and we will let you know if a sound installation is possible.
