The new WiFi Command System from TCS is built on state of the art technology and the latest advancements in model railroading, making your layout smarter and more connected than ever before.
The command station features 100% WiFi communication, enabling wireless control of your throttle and other devices. Full LCC and Railcom support enables consistent bi-directional communication between everything on your layout. LCC also allows for cross-compatibility with throttle systems from other manufacturers, eliminating the divisions that currently exist. The command station ships with support for NCE systems - support for Digitrax and others will become available shortly thereafter. Built-in mounting holes and a low-profile design means the TCS command station can be inconspicuously attached to any layout or dispatchers board.
You can leave the cords, dongles, and IR controls at home - this system is run completely over WiFi, keeping you mobile and focused on the job at hand. Designed for ambidextrous operation, the throttle features an ergonomic scroll wheel and intuitive printed-on function keys for easy heads-up operation, alongside a huge, backlit, and transflective LCD screen that displays relevant information in an easy-to-understand way. Full-text, human-readable menus and manual text entry put a new level of customization and configuration at your fingertips without the need for difficult technical manuals or complex button combinations. Eight programmable soft keys make accessing your necessary functions easier than ever. Two AA batteries power the throttle for a full day of non-stop usage, and the calibrated battery level display guarantees you won’t be caught unprepared.
A compact throttle is also in development for this command system. Sporting limited features and a smaller price tag, this straightforward unit will be club-focused and perfect for operations.
