The TCS MZA4 decoder is designed to fit older style Micro Train locomotive's chassis (including GP35). Recently, Micro Train changed the chassis design and our MZA 4 decoder will no longer fit into new locomotive releases (including SD40-2) with out some modification. However, with a slight modification to the posts, the MZA4 decoder will fit into these newer chassis. Pictures below show before and after the modification. The posts holding the decoder in place are milled to accurately accept the decoder.

Because of this issue we decided to provide a service to our dealers and customers:

We will mill the frame and install the decoder in any "new style" MTL chassis for $69.95 (plus shipping).

Dealers receive discount. That price include the TCS MZA4 decoder, frame modification, and the installation.

If you send 2 locomotives or more we will give you 5% off.
